Kim Tae-hoon is a seasoned expert with over 20 years of experience in developing and managing data-driven advertising and commerce business strategies.

He began his career at Daum Communications (now Kakao), leading advertising and mobile strategy initiatives, before joining SK Telecom, where he oversaw advertising platforms and product planning. As head of the T-Deal task force, he spearheaded the launch of the new commerce business “T-Deal.” Kim also played a key role in SK Telecom’s acquisition of Incross, later serving concurrently as Head of Media Commerce at Incross. There, he successfully drove the commercialization of T-Deal and led the post-merger integration (PMI) of the video advertising platform “Darwin.”

After moving to LG Group, Kim worked at LG Management Development Institute, focusing on discovering new business and service opportunities. He is currently Executive Director of the Advertising & Commerce Division at LG Uplus, where he oversees the integration of IPTV, mobile web/app, and push advertising channels, as well as the development of hyper-personalized advertising and commerce strategies.
