Food explorer Jang Min-young majored in life sciences and traditional Korean food culture. While working on the KBS program “The Korean Table”, she traveled the country to discover and document the forgotten flavors of local cuisine. Today, she leads the “Sustainable Gastronomy Lab – Our Planeat,” where she curates Local Odyssey, a dining meetup series that showcases hidden ingredients and culinary traditions from regions across Korea, including Geomundo, Ulleungdo, Sokcho, Gijang, Pohang, Taean, Geochang, Jeju, and Hadong.
